Drop Coin Regulation

COINS ARE CUMULATIVE AND VALID ONLY AT THE POINT OF SALE.

1. OBJECTIVE:
 Reaching 100 Drop Coins.

2. WHY?
 Because 100 Goccia Coins instantly transform into a €10 voucher.

3. HOW DO I EARN COINS?
Coins are accumulated with each purchase and according to the membership level in this way:

DIAMOND: €1 = 1.5 Drop Coins
To get 100 coins and the €10 discount, you must spend at least €67.
GOLD: €1 = 1 Drop Coin
To get 100 coins and, therefore, the €10 discount, you must spend at least €100.
SILVER: €1 = 0.5 Goccia Coin
To get 100 coins and the €10 discount, you must spend at least €200.
BRONZE: €1 = 0.25 Drop Coin
To get 100 coins and the €10 discount, you must spend at least €400.

Goccia Coins are cumulative net of the Goccia Loyalty discount, the Birthday Discount and other discounts.

EXAMPLE 1

  • I am a Gold level customer.
  • I'm spending €150 (full price).
  • €150 -10% = €135.
  • €135 = 100 Drop Coin = €10.
  • Drop Coin Balance €35.

If you have a Goccia Coin discount coupon worth €10 (or multiples), the discount coupon will be deducted BEFORE applying the loyalty discount or any other discount (birthday discount, special promotions, etc.).

EXAMPLE 2

  • I am a Gold level customer with a €10 Goccia Coin discount coupon.
  • I purchase an item worth €130 (full price)
  • €130 - €10 = €120
  • €120 -10% (loyalty discount) (or other type of discount) = €108
  • We're issuing a new €10 Goccia Coin discount voucher to spend on your next purchase.
  • Drop Coin Balance €8.

4. WHAT ARE THE CASES IN WHICH GOCCIA COINS DO NOT CUMULATE? All products with a discount greater than 10% accumulate half Goccia Coins.

“Discounted Items” means all items that have a discount greater than the 10% Loyalty Card discount.

EXAMPLE

  • I am a Gold level customer.
  • I buy an item at full price for €100 but it's discounted by 20%.
  • €100 – 20% = €80.
  • 80 points accumulated but, since it is a discounted item, they will be accumulated in half.
  • Points balance = 40 Goccia Coin.

DURING IMPORTANT EVENTS such as:

Black Friday
Sales
Events with ad hoc promotions. (e.g. Goccia's birthday),

Drop coins do not stack.

EXAMPLE

  • I am a Gold level customer.
  • I purchase an item during the WINTER SALE period
  • €150 per item.
  • €150 = 0 Drop Coins

If you have a Goccia Coin discount voucher worth €10 (or multiples), the discount voucher will be deducted BEFORE applying the loyalty discount or any other discount (birthday discount, special promotions, etc.). EXAMPLE 2

  • I am a Gold level customer with a €10 Goccia Coin discount coupon.
  • I purchase an item worth €130 (full price)
  • €130 - €10 = €120
  • €120 -10% (loyalty discount) (or other type of discount) = €108
  • We're issuing a new €10 Goccia Coin discount voucher to spend on your next purchase.
  • Drop Coin Balance €8.

5. HOW DO I KNOW WHAT LEVEL I BELONG TO?

  • Have you made purchases over €6,000 in six months?* Congratulations, you're a DIAMANTE customer. 6,000
  • Have you made purchases from €1000 to €5999 in six months?* Congratulations, you are our GOLD 1000/5999 customer
  • Have you made purchases from €100 to €999.99 in six months?* Congratulations, you are our SILVER 100/999 customer
  • Have you made purchases from €1 to €99.99 in six months?* Congratulations, you are our BRONZE customer. 0 to 99

6. HOW LONG DOES THE GOCCIA COIN COLLECTION LAST?
*The Goccia Coin collection is valid for 6 months

  • from 01/03 to 31/08 of each year
  • from 01/09 to 28/02 of each year.

Every six months, your purchases will be counted and will determine your level for the following six months, according to the table in point 5. You will also accumulate new Goccia Coins according to the table in point 3.

EXAMPLE 1:

  • From March 1 to August 31, I spent €2,200. I'm a Gold Level customer.
  • From 01/09 to 28/02 I make purchases by combining Goccia Coin with the Gold level.

EXAMPLE 2:

  • I am a Gold level customer
  • After 6 months, if your spending level is no longer within the threshold set for the Gold level, as per point 4, for the following six months you will accumulate Goccia Coins as a level according to your new spending band as per point 4.

7. DO I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE END OF SIX MONTHS TO UPGRADE TO THE NEXT BAND IF I HAVE REACHED THE MINIMUM SPEND?
NO. You can move to the next level without waiting for the end of the six months. All you need to do is reach the minimum spend required for the level. (See point 5).

8. AT THE END OF SIX MONTHS WHAT HAPPENS TO THE UNUSED GOCCIA COINS?

Unused Goccia Coins will be reset.

DISCOUNT VOUCHER AND COIN DROP

9. HOW DO I SCALE GOCCIA COINS?

A) Goccia Coins are deducted for every 100 coins accumulated, which correspond to a €10 discount voucher. Any remaining Goccia Coins are added to the Goccia Coins from subsequent or previous purchases.

EXAMPLE:

  • I am a Gold level customer.
  • I purchase an item worth €120 which has a 30% discount.
  • Balance 84 Drop Coin.
  • If I have a previously accumulated coin balance (e.g. 16 Goccia coins), these 84 Goccia Coins will be added to it.
  • If the new balance reaches 100 Goccia Coins (16 + 84 = 100 coins), a new Goccia Coin discount coupon worth €10 will be issued immediately, which can be spent on your next purchase.
  • If I didn't have a previous balance, I'll wait for a new purchase to reach the goal of 100 Goccia Coins = €10.

B) The Goccia Coin discount voucher of €10 or multiples is deducted before the loyalty discount, birthday discount and other discounts.

EXAMPLE:

  • I am a Gold customer in possession of a Goccia Coin discount voucher worth €10.
  • I purchased an item worth €130.
  • €130 - €10 Goccia Coin discount voucher = €120.
  • €120 - 10% (loyalty discount) (or other possible discount) = €108 = 100 Goccia Coins
  • New Goccia Coin discount coupon worth €10 to spend on your next purchase
  • 8 Goccia Coin balance (which adds to the previous Goccia Coin balance if it exists).

10. DOES THE €10 DISCOUNT VOUCHER I OBTAINED FOR REACHING 100 GOCCIA COINS EXPIRE?
It is valid for two months from the date of issue.

11. ARE THE €10 EACH GOCCIA COIN DISCOUNT COUPONS CUMULATIVE?
Yes. They are issued with a value of €10 and can be added together and must be spent in full (€10 and multiples). There is no minimum spend required. They do not give change.

EXAMPLE:

  • I bought an item worth €25
  • I have 3 Goccia coin discount vouchers of €10 each.
  • You will only be able to use 2 of the 3 Goccia Coin discount coupons.
  • You will have to pay the difference of €5
  • The 3rd voucher will be valid until it expires.

12. HOW ARE CENTS CALCULATED?
Cents are always calculated upwards.

  • I am a Gold level customer and I purchased an item worth €20.10.
  • €20.10 = 21 Goccia Coins

13. CAN I GIVE BACK THE €10 VOUCHER I OBTAINED FOR REACHING 100 GOCCIA COINS?
No. The Goccia Coin discount coupon is non-transferable and must always be used by the loyalty card holder to whom it was associated.

14. HOW DO COIN DROP WORK DURING SALES AND OTHER EVENTS?
During sales periods or other events with exceptional promotions (e.g. Black Friday, Mid Season, Goccia Birthday, etc.) Goccia Coins accumulate at half their value.

EXAMPLE:

  • I am a Gold level customer.
  • Purchase during the Black Friday period.
  • I purchased an item worth €180 which has a 20% discount and is therefore priced at €144.
  • You will have to pay the difference of €5
  • €144 = 72 Goccia Coins (cumulative of Goccia Coins in half during some exceptional discount periods).

15. CAN I GIVE THE €10 VOUCHER I EARNED FOR REACHING 100 GOCCIA COINS TO A FAMILY MEMBER?

  • Yes. You can create a household of up to 2 people.
  • Within the core, each component belongs to a level, as per point 4 of the regulation, according to the level of expenditure incurred.
  • If the two people in the core group belong to different levels, the person with the lower level has the benefit of accumulating Goccia Coins according to the highest level obtained by the other member of the group.
  • Please note: the Goccia Coins of people in the group do not accumulate.

EXAMPLE:

  • if Marco is GOLD LEVEL and Simona is BRONZE LEVEL, Simona, even if bronze, accumulates Goccia Coin according to the rules of Marco's Gold level.
  • Simona, therefore, accumulates points like Marco, but her level will remain the same as the amount she actually spent. Until she reaches the minimum spend required for her level, she won't be able to move up to the next level.
  • If Marco (gold level) buys a pair of jeans costing €50 (50 Goccia Coins depending on his gold level), he will accumulate 50 Goccia Coins in his personal area. If Simona (silver level) buys a pair of jeans worth €60, Simona, belonging to Marco's group, will accumulate Goccia Coins as if she were a gold level member, not a silver one (so in this case, she will accumulate 60 Goccia Coins, not 30 Goccia Coins). In this case, Goccia Coins cannot be accumulated (50 Goccia Coins for Marco + 60 Goccia Coins for Simona), and both must reach 100 Goccia Coins to receive a €10 Goccia Coin voucher.

16. HOW DO DROP COINS WORK IN THE CASE OF A GIFT CARD?

  • In the case of a gift voucher, Goccia coins are accumulated as in a normal sale.
  • Example: Marco (Gold level) gives a €50 voucher to Simona. Marco collects 50 Goccia Coins.

17. IN CASE OF A DEPOSIT PAYMENT, HOW ARE THE GOCCIA COINS ACCUMULATED?

  • Goccia Coins only accumulate with your balance.
  • Example: Marco (gold level) buys a pair of jeans for €70 and leaves a €21 deposit. (To set aside an item with a deposit, you need to put down 30% of the total cost of the item.)
  • Coin balance = 0
  • The next day, Marco returns to the shop and pays the difference of €49 to collect his jeans.
  • Coin balance deposit + balance = 21 + 49 = total 70 Goccia Coin

18. WHERE CAN I CHECK ALL THIS INFORMATION?
The receipt will be issued with the following information: 

  • membership level.
  • Remaining Drop Coin Balance
